Environment and nature are very important for ROKUA Skincare. As we get our product ingredients from the nature, we want to give something back to nature as well.

1% for the Planet is a global organization that exists to ensure our planet and future generations thrive. They inspire businesses and individuals to support environmental nonprofits through membership and everyday actions. Their idea is simple and fits ROKUA Skincare’s objectives: because companies profit from the resources they take from the earth, they should protect those resources.

Started in 2002 by Yvon Chouinard, founder of Patagonia, and Craig Mathews, founder of Blue Ribbon Flies, members of 1% for the planet have given more than $280 million to the organization’s approved nonprofit partners to date. Today, 1% for the Planet’s global network consists of thousands of businesses, individuals and environmental nonprofits working toward a better future for all.

ROKUA Skincare develops and manufactures products that meet the consumers’ needs and builds an interactive, responsible, and appealing brand which is designed to create well-being for consumers and the environment with responsible and ecological choices and practices. ROKUA Skincare products are manufactured for men, under strict and high quality standards in the Nordics. Our natural and highly active ingredients such as black currant seed oil are formulated from the highest quality sources from the Nordic nature.

“It´s an honor for us to join and be a member of 1% for the planet network. Together with other 1% for the planet members we want to ensure that our natural resources are available for our products in future as well.”– says Jari Niitynperä, the Founder of ROKUA Skincare
